Samantha A. (Gearhart) Minner

Samantha A. Minner, 59, of Berwick passed away on Thursday December 18, 2025, at her residence. She was born on February 4, 1966, in Berwick, a daughter of Phyllis (Force) Foster and the late Samuel Gearhart.

She graduated from Berwick High School class of 1985. Samantha worked at Geisinger Medical Center in medical coding. Sam was a member of Bravehearts and Livestrong at the YMCA. She enjoyed doing crafts, being outdoors, fishing, kayaking, but most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, and dogs.

Samantha is survived by her husband Jeffery S. Minner, whom she married in 2008, mother Phyllis and stepfather David Foster, two children; Nathaniel Prueitt wife Casandra of Berwick, Calandra Weisenberger husband Jason of Berwick, two stepchildren; Jared Minner wife Erica of Berwick, Lisa Minner husband Ralph Wildoner of Berwick, bonus child Melony Tzounakos-Helm husband Brandon of West Milton, and eight grandchildren. As well as brother David Gearhart wife Georgia of Stoneboro, PA, two sisters Gail Allen husband Barry Sr. of Berwick, Brenda Thomas of Arizona and numerous aunts, nieces, and nephews.

Samantha was preceded in death by her father Samuel, and son Zachary Prueitt.

Services will be Tuesday December 23, 2025 at 11:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 N. Market St., Berwick. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be sent to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
