Barbara Perey

Barbara Perey, 91, of Berwick passed away at home on January 5, 2026. She was born August 22, 1934, in Manchester, New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Walter P. and Eleanor (Duncan) Brockway.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Perey on January 17, 1994, and her parents.

Barbara graduated from Northfield Academy Mass and Wilkes College with her teacher’s degree. She worked as a High School English teacher and was a self-employed with her late husband John.

She was a member of Berwick Christian Church serving in many compacities over the years including missions and serving as deacon.

She loved gardening and enjoyed all flowers. She loved frogs, bunnies, and moose.

Barbara is survived by four daughters: Roberta Fick of Texas, Patricia Spencer husband James of North Carolina, Diana Mike partner Christian Brown of Berwick, Pamela Shalata husband William of Noxen, PA, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
