Tom R. Mowery

Tom R. Mowery, 57, of Mifflinville passed away on Tuesday March 5, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born June 4, 1966 in Berwick, a son of Cy Robert Mowery of Nescopeck and Barbara (Michael) Mowery of Mifflinville.

He graduated from Central Columbia High School class of 1984. Tom worked at RC Young for 38 years. He was a member of Mifflin Township Forest Ranger and Bryan Run Hunting Club. In his younger years he liked working with horses. He loved hunting, fishing, and pouring concrete. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Tom is survived by his parents as well as his wife the former Lorie Mae Morris, whom he married March 31, 2023, two sons; Mitchel Mowery wife Lindsay of Nescopeck, Jace Mowery of Mifflinville, two grandchildren Mason and McKenna Mowery, and brother Terry Mowery wife Jill of Nescopeck.

Services will be Tuesday March 12, 2024 at 10:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 Market St., Berwick with Pastor Walter Minto officiating. Burial will follow at Lemons Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday March 11, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
