Peggy Harrison Obituary

Peggy Ann Harrison, 79, of Shickshinny, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Glenbrook Rehab and Nursing Center.

She was born March 18, 1945, in Shickshinny, a daughter of the late Floyd Elijah Crane Sr. and Loretta (Robbins) Crane.

She graduated from Northwest High School and worked at the Consolidated Cigar Factory in Berwick, until its closing, then going to Weis.

Peggy enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading. She was a member of Bower Memorial Church, Berwick.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Jack Lee Harrison, who she married on Nov. 3, 1962; two sons: Steve Harrison, companion, Lisa Bomboy, of Berwick, Tracy Harrison of Shickshinny; son-in-law, Michael Jurbala Jr., of Berwick; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; as well as three brothers: Leroy Crane, wife, Barb, of Shickshinny, Leland Crane of Nanticoke, Lee Crane of Georgia; and three sisters: Portia Miller of Glen Lyon, Paige Mitchell, husband, George, of Shickshinny, and Priscilla Yacuboski, husband, Douglas, of Shickshinny.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents as well her daughter, Shari Jurbala; two brothers: Floyd Crane Jr., Lloyd Crane; and two sisters: Patricia Maczuga and Penny Crane.
