Odeta L. Steiner 76, of Bloomsburg, passed peacefully at her home after a 13 year battle with cancer, Monday February 26, 2024.
Odeta was born December 12, 1947, in Ephrata Pa; a daughter of the late, James and Katie (Good) Wolf.
She was a graduate of Cocalico High School Class of 1965, and a graduate of Beauty School in 1986. Odeta worked in the offices of Labar Trucking and Bloomsburg Mills, she owned and operated Creekside Pottery Outlet for over 10 years. Odeta enjoyed attending the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids sporting events. Was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Odeta enjoyed going to the Casinos and often won the Jackpots. Odeta was of Protestant faith. She loved her Dachshunds.
Odeta is survived by her husband Stephen W. Steiner who she married on September 29, 1984, also by her children, Tony Hirneisen (Brenda) of Berwick, Tina Bujno (Steve) of Adamstown, Teri Witchey (Kent) of Bloomsburg, and Andy J. Steiner of Bloomsburg, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Also by a brother Larry Wolf (Ruth). And a sister Brenda Reed (Barry) both of Lancaster County.
Services will be March 1, 2024 at 11:00am, from the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 1024 N. Market Street Berwick Pa. 18603, with Rev. Becky Cuddeback of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Mifflinville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
